The first hip hop show I ever attended was the Fresh Fest at the Greensboro Coliseum with Run DMC, Fat Boys, and Whodini. The attempt failed and 8 US servicemen were killed. Fletcher co-founded Whodini alongside Jalil Hutchins in 1982 four years prior to when the hip-hop duo transformed into a trio with the help of DJ Grandmaster Dee..
